Google stated, that the last year over 10% of its searches was mobile and predicts 20% this year! Google has a special mobile search website where all mobile users are sent, and mobile friendly websites are preferred in the results (after all it is for mobile users).

Your target market in most cases is 20 to 40 year old people. And they do not go anywhere without their phone. It’s all about accessibility, convenience and being for your customer, where they are.

Thirdly, it is a myth that a website design for 15 inch to 20 inch screen can be mobile 'friendly' and work well on 1 or 4 inch screen! Even if your website will pass all technical problems, a user experience and the usability will be a sheer disaster! Who wants to scroll 4-5 screens down or to the side? Who wants to zoom in and out, or simply try to click too small links and tabs? You would rather go away, wouldn't you?

Who needs mobile websites?
